12B. ADOPT A RESOLUTION TO UPDATE THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE FOR CITY\nPROGRAMS AND SERVICES BY THE ANNUAL CONSUMER PRICE INDEX (CPI)\nEFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2026\nOn January 14, 2025, the City Council approved Resolution No. 2025-04 which contained\nthe current Master Fee Schedule which had been updated based on the findings of a\ncomprehensive fee study. The Resolution included a provision to update the Master Fee\nSchedule annually, each July 1, beginning on July 1, 2025, to implement annual\nConsumer Price Index (CPI) based adjustments to all fees to ensure fees keep up with\nincreasing costs. Resolution No. 2026-11 authorizes a 3.0% CPI increase effective July\n1, 2026.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council find that this item is not subject to California Environmental Quality Act\n(“CEQA”) pursuant to Sections 15378(b)(5)(Organizational or administrative activities\nof governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the\nenvironment); and\n2. Adopt Resolution No. 2026-11, entitled:\n“A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STANTON,\nCALIFORNIA, ADOPTING INFLATION ADJSUTMENTS TO THE CITY\nOF STANTON MASTER FEE SCHEDULE FOR CITY PROGRAMS AND\nSERVICES.”
