11. AWARD CONTRACT: PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE SEWER\nSYSTEM FLOW MONITORING AND CAPACITY ANALYSIS STUDY – F2M23-27,\nRFP2M23-4, C2M23-27\nOn February 27, 2023, the City Council approved the distribution of a Request for\nProposals for Engineering Design Services for the Sewer System Flow Monitoring and\nCapacity Analysis Study. Staff reviewed and evaluated the proposal received. Based on\nqualifications, experience, reputation, responsiveness, availability and cost, Utility\nsystems, Science & Software, Inc. was selected as the most responsive firm.\nRecommended Action: City Council award a contract, subject to final language\napproval by the City Manager and City Attorney, by and between the City of Alhambra and\nUtility Systems, Science & Software, Inc. for the Sewer System Flow Monitoring and\nCapacity Analysis Study in an amount not to exceed $83,665.00; and, direct staff to\nundertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
