NB1.\nOfficial Canvass and Certification of April 14, 2026 General Municipal Election\nRecommendation(s):\nAdopt Resolution No. 26-_____, reciting the facts of the General Municipal Election held on\nTuesday, April 14, 2026, declaring the results and such other matters as provided by law\nregarding the election of two Council Members.\nElection Code Sections 10262, 10263 and 10264 require, among other things, the City Clerk\nto declare to the legislative body the results of the General Municipal Election. The City\nClerk published the Notice of Election, which was given in time, form and manner as\nprescribed by law. In all respects the election was held and conducted and the votes were\ncast, received and canvassed and the returns made and declared in time, form and manner as\nrequired by the provisions of the Elections Code of the State of California for the holding of\nall-mail-ballot elections in charter cities.\nSWEARING IN CEREMONY/NEW COUNCIL MEMBERS SEATED\nRECESS\nCLOSED SESSION
