The ordinance establishes definitions,\noperational rules, safety requirements, enforcement mechanisms, and penalties to promote\npublic safety and welfare.\nRecommendation: That the City Council introduce by title only and waive further reading of an\nOrdinance titled, “AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA VERNE,\nCALIFORNIA, ADDING CHAPTER 10.80 TO TITLE 10 OF THE LA VERNE MUNICIPAL CODE\nREGULATING THE USE OF REGULATED MOBILITY DEVICES.”
