B.16. CO-SPONSORSHIP\nOF\nROSEWOOD\nSTEM\nMAGNET\nSPRING\nFESTIVAL [J. ROCCO, A. LOVANO, J. DEL TORO, J. DUCKWORTH]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approving a Co-Sponsorship\nAgreement for Rosewood STEM Magnet Spring Festival event on\nTuesday, June 2, 2026, at Rosewood STEM Magnet Urban Planning and\nUrban Design located at 503 N. Croft Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90048.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve a Co-Sponsorship Agreement for\nRosewood STEM Magnet Spring Festival event on Tuesday, June 2,\n2026, at Rosewood STEM Magnet located in Los Angeles; 2) Authorize\nthe City Manager to execute documents incident to the Co-Sponsorship\nAgreement between the City of West Hollywood and Friends of\nRosewood; 3) Authorize the Director of Finance and Technology Services\nto allocate $5,000 from unallocated General Fund reserves to the Special\nCouncil Programs Account 100-1-01-00-531001 for costs associated with\nthis event and increase the budget for Special Council Programs by the\nsame amount; 4) Authorize the Director of Finance & Technology Services\nto allocate $5,000 from budgeted funds in the Special Council Programs\naccount number 100-1-01-00-531001 for costs associated with this event;\n5) Authorize the use of the City name and logo on invitations, programs,\nand other collateral materials for this event; and 6) Direct the\nCommunications Department to utilize all appropriate communication tools\nto promote the event including, but not limited to, the City’s website, a\npress release, and social media tools.
