16. AWARD OF A CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE DEL OBISPO PARK\nMODIFICATION PROJECT (CIP #1369)\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council:\n1) Approve award of the construction contract to Elegant Construction, Incorporated for construction\nof the Del Obispo Park Modification Project (CIP #1369), and authorize the City Manager to\nexecute the contract and approve any necessary change orders; and\n2) Authorize the City Manager to execute a Standard Consultant Services Agreement with GMU\nGeotechnical for materials observation and testing services for CIP #1369 as outlined in the Fiscal\nImpact Sections; and\n3) Authorize the City Manager to execute a Standard Consultant Services Agreement with\nWestLAND Group, Incorporated, for surveying, construction staking and monument preservation\nfor CIP #1369, as outlined in the Fiscal Impact Section; and\n4) Authorize the City Manager to execute a Standard Consultant Services Agreement with RJM\nDesign Group, Inc. for professional engineering support services during construction for CIP\n#1369, as outlined in the Fiscal Impact Section; and\n5) Approve expenditures and budget adjustments for CIP #1369 as outlined in the Fiscal Impact\nsection.
