7.\nAward of Construction Contract to Pavement Coatings Co. for the Heather\nRidge Bike Lanes Project, Cash Contract No. 23-10\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Award a Construction Contract to Pavement Coatings Co. for the Heather\nRidge Bike Lanes Project, Cash Contract No. 23-10 in the amount of\n$221,826;\n2. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to process change orders\nin an amount not to exceed 25% of the contract for $55,457, for a total not-\nto-exceed amount of $277,283, if needed;\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Construction Contract to\nPavement Coatings Co. for the Heather Ridge Bike Lanes Project, Cash\nContract No. 23-10, subject to the City Attorney making non-substantive\nchanges; and,\n4. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to execute the Notice of\nCompletion at the conclusion of construction.
