LEGISLATIVE POLICY COMMITTEE: SUPPORT FOR CALIFORNIA ASSEMBLY BILL 2329 (FONG) – SURPLUS PROPERTY DISPOSITION –\nCITY OF PASADENA PROPOSED AMENDMENTS AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO SIGN LETTER OF SUPPORT (Office of the City Manager)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1) Find that the proposed action in the agenda report is categorically not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant\nto\nSection 21065 of CEQA and Sections 15060(c)(2), 15060(c)(3), and 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines, and as such, no environmental document\npursuant to CEQA is required;\n(2) Take a position of support, if amended, of California Assembly Bill 2329 to clarify applicability to Pasadena properties, strengthen tenant\nprotections,\nenable administrative cost recovery, and standardize procedures for valuation and property; and,\n(3) Authorize the Mayor to send letters to the appropriate authorities stating the City’s position.\nCity Council
