11.2\nConsideration of Interim Urgency Ordinance No. 968-U to Adopt by Reference the\n2025 California Energy Code, Wildland-Urban Interface Code, Existing Building\nCode, and Referenced Standards Code and to Amend Bell Gardens Municipal Code\nChapters 6.04, 6.08, 6.12, 6.14, 6.16, and 6.18\nRECOMMENDATION: It is staff’s recommendation that the City Council adopt, by a\nfour-fifths vote, Interim Urgency Ordinance No. 968-U, amending certain sections\nof Title 6 (Buildings and Construction) of the Bell Gardens Municipal Code, to\nremove all references to Los Angeles County Code Title 26 (Building Code), Title 27\n(Electrical Code), Title 28 (Plumbing Code), Title 29 (Mechanical Code), Title 30\n(Residential Code), and Title 31 (Green Building Standards Code), which amend\nand adopt by reference the 2025 California Building Standards Code, and adopt by\nreference the 2025 California Energy Code, Wildland-Urban Interface Code,\nExisting Building Code, and Referenced Standards Code.\nATTACHMENTS:\nExhibit 1 – Interim Urgency Ordinance No. 968-U
