2. Director Determination Appeal to City Council Laundromat\nThe City Council will consider: (CD)\na. The applicant's appeal and determine if the proposed self-service laundromat at 4382–4390 Tweedy\nBoulevard is most appropriately classified as "Personal Services, General" under South Gate Municipal\nCode Section 11.60, and that such use is a permitted use within the TMU-2 (Tweedy Mixed-Use 2) zone\npursuant to the Tweedy Boulevard Specific Plan land use table. A draft Resolution denying the appeal has\nbeen prepared consistent with the Director’s original land use determination. If the City Council elects to\ngrant the appeal, staff will return with a corresponding resolution at a subsequent meeting. An alternate\nresolution granting the appeal based on findings presented by the appellant is included as an attachment to\nthe agenda bill.
