4.\nAPPROVAL OF THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH\nSERVICES AGREEMENT FOR MEASURE B ADVISORY BOARD FUNDING\nGRANT\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the Council 1) authorize the City\nManager to accept the 2025 Measure B grant funds and execute the\nagreement with the County of Los Angeles Department of Health Services for\na performance period of May 14, 2026 to June 30, 2027; 2) approve budget\namendments needed; and 3) dispense with competitive bidding requirements\npursuant to SMMC §02.06.05 B. 2 b and authorize the Fire Department to\npurchase (2) Zoll X-Series Cardiac Monitors and (1) AutoPulse NXT\nResuscitation Device from Zoll Medical Corporation in the amount of\n$156,656.13 and (1) Stryker Power Pro 2 Ambulance Cot from Stryker Sales,\nLLC in the amount of $45,843.95. If the City Council concurs with staff’s\nrecommendation, an appropriate motion would be:\n“I move to authorize the City Manager to accept the 2025 Measure B grant\nfunds and 1) execute the agreement with the County of Los Angeles\nDepartment of Health Services for a performance period of May 14, 2026 to\nJune 30, 2027; 2) approve budget amendments required; and 3) dispense\nwith competitive bidding requirements pursuant to SMMC §02.06.05 B. 2 b\nand authorize the Fire Department to purchase (2) Zoll X-Series Cardiac\nMonitors and (1) AutoPulse NXT Resuscitation Device from Zoll Medical\nCorporation in the amount of $156,656.13 and (1) Stryker Power Pro 2\nAmbulance Cot from Stryker Sales, LLC in the amount of $45,843.95.”
