I. AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN GABRIEL AND LOS ANGELES\nCOUNTY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (LACDA) FOR LEAD FREE HOMES LA\nThe Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA), on behalf of Los\nAngeles County and its participating cities, administers a program called Lead\nFree Homes LA. Lead Free Homes LA provides free lead-paint hazard mitigation\nservices to eligible residential properties, with the goal of protecting children\nunder six from lead exposure. To provide this service to residents of the City of\nSan Gabriel, an agreement between the City of San Gabriel and LACDA is\nnecessary.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute\nthe agreement between the Los Angeles County Development Authority\n(LACDA) and the City of San Gabriel.
