G. APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT FOR A RETAINER WITH\nARTS CONSULTING GROUP AND ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 26-21\nAPPROPRIATING $30,000 FROM THE CITY’S GENERAL FUND\nIn March 2026, the City Council approved the Mission Playhouse draft strategic\nplan completed by Arts Consulting Group and directed staff to bring forward a\ncontract for a retainer for operational modeling, implementation support, etc.\nwith that same consultant. Included in this report is a brief summary of the work\nto be included as part of the retainer and the amendment to the initial\nagreement with Arts Consulting Group.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Approve the Amendment to the agreement with Arts Consulting Group for\na retainer for a period of six (6) months; and\n2. Adopt Resolution No. 26-21 appropriating $30,000 from the City’s Fiscal\nYear 2025-2026 General Fund budget.
