16. Hot Spot Intersection Improvements at Rosemead Boulevard and Beverly\nBoulevard (CIP No. 21276) – Notice of Completion. (500)\nRecommendation:\n1. Accept the work as completed for the Hot Spot Improvements at the\nintersection of Rosemead Boulevard and Beverly Boulevard (CIP No.\n21276), constructed by Palp, Inc. dba Excel Paving and authorize the City\nClerk to file the Notice of Completion with the Los Angeles County Registrar-\nRecorder;\n2. Approve contract change orders in the total amount of $388,023 for\nadditional work performed on the project; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to release the retention payment and all other\nmonies due to Palp, Inc. dba Excel Paving following the mandatory waiting\nperiod from the date the Notice of Completion is recorded.
