FISCAL YEAR 2026-27 ANNUAL LEVY OF ASSESSMENTS FOR SPECIAL\nDISTRICTS - This required procedural matter orders, approves, and sets the public\nhearing for the annual levy of the Landscape and Lighting District, Drainage Benefit\nAssessment Areas, Golden Valley Ranch Open Space Maintenance District, and the Tourism Marketing District.\nCity Council:\n1. Adopt resolutions initiating proceedings for the levy and collection of assessments for\nFiscal Year 2026-27 for the Landscape and Lighting District, Drainage Benefit\nAssessment Areas, and the Golden Valley Ranch Open Space Maintenance District.\n2. Adopt resolutions declaring the City's intention to levy assessments, preliminarily\napprove Engineer's Reports for the Special Districts, and set a public hearing for June 9, 2026.\n3. Adopt the annual report for the Tourism Marketing District and a resolution of intent\nto continue a business improvement area in the City of Santa Clarita, designated as\nthe Tourism Marketing District, and set a public hearing for June 9, 2026.
