8. General Municipal Election for Districts 1 and 4 Recommended Action for the City Council:\n— 1. Adopt a City Council Resolution calling and giving notice of the holding of a General Municipal Election to\nbe held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, and adopting regulations pertaining to candidate statements;\n— 2. Adopt a City Council Resolution requesting the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk\nadminister, manage, and oversee the City’s election and requesting consolidation with the Statewide General Election; and\n— 3. Direct the City Clerk to forward certified copies of said resolutions to the County Board of Supervisors and Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk.\nMEMBER AGENDA ITEMS
