D. Award of Contract for Street Sweeping Services The City’s current\nstreet sweeping services agreement is scheduled to expire on June\n30, 2026. To ensure continuity of services, the City released RFP No.\n2026-02 for Street Sweeping Services on March 4, 2026, and received\nfour (4) proposals on March 26, 2026. Following a comprehensive\nreview and evaluation of the proposals received, staff determined\nthat three (3) of the proposals submitted were responsive and\nqualified to meet the City’s operational needs. Accordingly, staff\nrecommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute a three-year Maintenance Services Agreement with Nationwide Environmental Services (NES) for citywide street\nsweeping services in an amount of $535,440.00 commencing July 1,\n2026, through June 30, 2029. The proposed Agreement includes a\nfixed 3% increase annually during the term of the agreement, as well\nas the option to extend the agreement for up to two (2) additional one-year terms, subject to satisfactory performance.\nRecommendation: That the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute a Maintenance Services Agreement with Nationwide\nEnvironmental Services for Street Sweeping Services for an initial threeyear term, effective July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029, with the option to\nextend the agreement for up to two (2) additional one-year terms. The\ninitial annual cost shall be $535,440.00, with a 3% annual adjustment applied in each subsequent year.\nStaff Report
