Public Hearing - Status of Vacant Positions Per AB 2561 - Local Public\nEmployees: Vacant Positions California State Assembly Bill (AB) 2561 was\napproved on September 22, 2024, and requires the public agencies to\npresent the status of vacancies, and recruitment and retention efforts\nduring a public hearing at least once per fiscal year before adoption of the annual budget.\nRecommendation: That the City Council take the following actions:\n1. Conduct a Public Hearing, receive public testimony, and receive the\ninformational report on City of Rosemead Vacancies, and\nRecruitment and Retention Efforts Pursuant to Government Code Section 3502.3; and\n2. Provide additional direction(s) to staff if needed.\nStaff Report
