RESOLUTION APPROVING A LIST OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED BY\nSAFE, CLEAN WATER PROGRAM - MEASURE W FOR FISCAL YEAR\n2023-24\nSummary:\nOn November 6, 2018, Los Angeles County voters approved Measure W,\ncommonly known as SCW. Measure W is funded by a parcel tax of 2.5 cents\nper square foot of impermeable area within the Los Angeles County Flood\nControl District (District). This parcel tax is expected to generate up to $285\nmillion per year countywide for SCW. SCW is intended to improve water quality\nin a manner that achieves additional benefits such as increasing water supply\nand investing in the health and well-being of Los Angeles County communities.\nThe City Council will consider adopting a resolution to incorporate a list of\nprojects and programs to be funded by the Safe, Clean Water Program (SCW) -\nMeasure W for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-24.\nRecommendation:\nAdopt a resolution, entitled:\nA RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL,\nCALIFORNIA, approving the List of projects AND PROGRAMS FOR FISCAL\nYEAR 2023-24 to be funded BY safe, clean water program - Measure W\nFUNDS
