14. Staff recommend that the City Council approve the 26-1443\nreclassification of an existing authorized full-time benefited\nLaboratory Assistant position to a full-time benefited\nLaboratory Technician position in the Water Utilities\nDepartment, effective August 2, 2026, or upon the vacancy\nof the incumbent and approval of this item, and appropriate\n$14,025 from the Water and Sewer fund balance.
