12.A. Resolutions for November 3, 2026 General Municipal Election\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n1. Adopting a resolution calling for a general municipal election on November 3, 2026\npursuant to Elections Code § 1301;\n2. Adopting a resolution requesting the County of Los Angeles to consolidate the City of\nMonterey Park’s general municipal election to be held on November 3, 2026, with the\nstatewide general election on the date pursuant to Elections Code §1301;\n3. Adopting a resolution establishing requirements for candidate statements filed with\nthe City Clerk to be included with voter information for an election on November 3,\n2026; and\n4. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
