4.5 GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION – NOVEMBER 3, 2026\nRecommended Actions:\n1. Adopt a Resolution calling for the holding of a Regular General Municipal\nElection to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, for the election of certain\nofficers as required by the provisions of the laws of the State of California\nrelating to general law cities;\n2. Adopt a Resolution calling for the holding of a Special Municipal Election to be\nheld on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, for the election of certain officers as\nrequired by the provisions of the laws of the State of California relating to\ngeneral law cities;\n3. Adopt a Resolution requesting the Orange County Board of Supervisors to\nconsolidate the Regular General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday,\nNovember 3, 2026, with the Statewide General Election to be held on the same\ndate pursuant to Section 10403 of the California Elections Code;\n4. Adopt a Resolution requesting the Orange County Board of Supervisors to\nconsolidate the Special Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 3,\n2026, with the Statewide General Election to be held on the same date pursuant\nto Section 10403 of the California Elections Code; and
