10. APPROVE REVOCABLE NON-EXCLUSIVE LICENSE DOWNLOAD\nAGREEMENT WITH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GAS\nCOMPANY FOR EXISTING FACILITIES OF DATA\nCOLLECTOR UNITS ON CITY-OWNED\nSTREETLIGHTS\nRecommendations:\n1. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a\nRevocable Non-Exclusive License Agreement with\nSouthern California Gas Company for the placement of\nData Collector Units (“DCUs”) on City-owned\nstreetlights;\n2. Accept the one-time payment of $10,136 and deposit it\ninto the Street Lighting and Utility Fund (134); and\n3. Find that the proposed action is exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\npursuant to CEQA Guidelines Sections 15301 and\n15061(b)(3), because the agreement authorizes the\ncontinued operation and maintenance of existing utility\ncommunication equipment attached to existing\nstreetlight infrastructure with no expansion of existing\nuse.
