9.2. Resolutions declaring certain real properties of the City of Orange and formerly\nthe Successor Agency to the Orange Redevelopment Agency as Surplus Land\nand Exempt Surplus Land pursuant to the California Surplus Land Act\n(Government Code Sections 54220 et seq.)\nRecommended Action:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 11697. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Orange\ndeclaring certain real properties to be exempt surplus land pursuant to the Small\nParcel Exemption of the Surplus Land Act (Government Code Section 54221(f)(1)\n(B)), making findings in support thereof, and authorizing the City Manager to take all\nactions necessary to effect the disposition of such properties.\n2. Adopt Resolution No. 11698. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Orange\ndeclaring certain real properties to be surplus land pursuant to the Surplus Land Act\n(Government Code Section 54221(b)), making findings in support thereof, directing\nstaff to comply with the notice and negotiation requirements of the Surplus Land\nAct, and authorizing the City Manager to take all actions necessary to effect the\ndisposition of such properties.\n3. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to take all actions necessary to effectuate\nthe disposition of the subject properties consistent with the resolutions, the Surplus\nLand Act and HCD Guidelines, the Long Range Property Management Plan and\nDissolution Act (to the extent applicable), and other applicable law, including\ntransmitting all required findings, notices, and documentation to the California\nDepartment of Housing and Community Development through the Surplus Land\nPortal.\nAttachments: Staff Report\nAttachment 1 - Resolution No 11697\nAttachment 2 - Resolution No 11698\nAttachment 3 - Property Location Map\nAttachment 4 - Exerpts of Long-Range Property Management Plan
