14. CONTRACT AMENDMENT FOR CITYWIDE JANITORIAL SERVICES - This\nitem considers an amendment for the existing janitorial services contract with Servicon\nSystems, Inc., to include services at The Rink Sports Pavilion and increase the\nexpenditure authority in the amount of $2,248,280.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Amend the current contract with Servicon Systems, Inc., to include services at The\nRink Sports Pavilion, increase expenditure authority by $160,743 for a new contract\namount of $2,127,702, and authorize a contingency for $120,578, for a total contract\namount not to exceed $2,248,280.\n2. Appropriate an ongoing expenditure of $49,739 for cost increases related to\nConsumer Price Index adjustments across various accounts, as outlined in Exhibit A,\nto support Citywide janitorial services with Servicon Systems, Inc.\n3. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all contracts and associated\ndocuments subject to City Attorney review.\nPUBLIC PARTICIPATION\nThis time has been set aside for any speakers that have turned in speaker cards and were not\nheard in the first public participation section allotted to address the City Council on items that\nare NOT on the agenda.
