REFRIGERATION PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR\nSERVICES CONTRACT FOR THE CUBE ICE AND ENTERTAINMENT\nCENTER - This item considers awarding a contract to Complete Thermal Services, Inc.,\nfor Refrigeration Preventative Maintenance and Repair Services for The Cube Ice and\nEntertainment Center.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Award a three-year contract to Complete Thermal Services, Inc., for preventative\nmaintenance and repair services for the thermal, HVAC, and ammonia refrigeration\nsystems at The Cube Ice and Entertainment Center for an annual amount of $96,820;\nand authorize an annual contingency in the amount of $9,682, for a total contract\namount not to exceed $319,506.\n2. Approve an ongoing appropriation in the amount of $106,502 from the Recreation\nFacility Fund (Fund 120) to Contractual Services Expenditure Account 1205120-\n516101, beginning in FY 2026-27.\n3. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute up to two additional one-year\nrenewal options beginning in Fiscal Year 2029-30, not to exceed the annual contract\namount, plus an adjustment consistent with the appropriate Consumer Price Index.\n4. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all contracts and associated\ndocuments, subject to City Attorney review.
