12. CONTRACT FOR JANITORIAL SERVICES AT THE CUBE ICE AND\nENTERTAINMENT CENTER – City Council consideration of a contract award for\njanitorial services at The Cube Ice and Entertainment Center.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Approve the use of a cooperative agreement through Sourcewell contract #031125-\nNEWG and award a one-year contract to NewGen Cleaning Services, for janitorial\nservices at The Cube Ice and Entertainment Center in the amount of $136,516 and\nauthorize a contingency in the amount of $6,000, for a total contract amount not to\nexceed $142,516.\n2. Approve an ongoing appropriation in the amount of $142,516 from the Recreation\nFacility Fund Balance (Fund 120) to the Janitorial Services Expenditure Account\n1205120-516143, beginning in Fiscal Year 2026-27.\n3. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute an additional one-year renewal\noption, not to exceed the annual contract amount, plus an adjustment consistent with\nthe appropriate Consumer Price Index.\n4. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all contracts and associated\ndocuments subject to City Attorney review.
