C. Adoption of Resolutions Relative to the November 3, 2026, General\nMunicipal Election The City Council will consider approving Resolution\nNo. 2026-23, calling and giving notice of holding a General Municipal\nElection on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, for the election of certain officers\nas required by the provisions of the laws of the State of California relating\nto general law cities; Resolution No. 2026-24, requesting the County of\nLos Angeles Board of Supervisors to render specified services to the City\nrelated to the conduct of a General Municipal Election on Tuesday,\nNovember 3, 2026; Resolution No. 2026-25, adopting regulations for\ncandidates for elective office pertaining to candidates statements\nsubmitted to the voters during city elections; and Resolution No. 2026-26,\nproviding for the conduct of a special runoff election for elective offices in\nthe event of a tie vote at any municipal election.\nRecommendation: That the City Council adopt the following resolutions\nentitled: * Resolution No. 2026-23 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL\nOF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA, CALLING FOR THE HOLDING\nOF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY,\nNOVEMBER 3, 2026, FOR THE ELECTION OF THREE (3) MEMBERS OF\nTHE CITY COUNCIL AS REQUIRED BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS\nOF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA RELATING TO GENERAL LAW CITIES; *\nResolution No. 2026-24: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING THE BOARD OF\nSUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES TO DIRECT THE\nREGISTRAR-RECORDER/COUNTY CLERK TO ADMINISTER, MANAGE AND\nOVERSEE THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD'S GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION\nTO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2026; AND REQUEST FOR\nCONSOLIDATION OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION WITH ANY\nCOUNTYWIDE ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 3, 2026;\nStaff Report
