20. APPROVE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2025 ASSISTANCE TO\nFIREFIGHTERS GRANT (AFG) PROGRAM FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Authorize submission of an application to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the\nFiscal Year 2025 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program for the purchase of fire department\nequipment; and\n2. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
