CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT AND FILE NOTICE OF\nCOMPLETION FOR THE EMERGENCY SLOPE STABILIZATION REPAIRS AT\nCASA ROMANTICA, CIP PROJECT NO. 23502, APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL\nAPPROPRIATIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,370,602 TO ACCOUNT NUMBER\n001-481-43470-000-23502 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO\nAPPROVE A CONTRACT AMENDMENT FOR ADDITIONAL WORK IN THE\nAMOUNT OF $3,310,602; AND POTENTIAL CITY COUNCIL DIRECTION ON\nPHASE 2B\nPotential Action(s)\nIf the City Council concurs with the information in the staff report, the\nappropriate action would be to:\nA. Adopt Resolution No. 26-112, which will:\n1. Authorize the transfer of $452,000 from the Sewer Unrestricted Fund\nBalance 054-000-23330 to General Fund to increase the budget for\naccount number 001-481-43470-000-23502.\n2. Authorize the transfer of $2,918,602 from the Reserve Unrestricted Fund\nBalance 014-000-23430 transferred to General Fund to increase the\nbudget for account number 001-481-43470-000-23502.\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment to the construction\ncontract with Alliance Diversified Enterprises, Inc. for the Emergency\nSlope Stabilization Repairs at Casa Romantica, CIP Project No. 23502,\nfor the additional work completed by Alliance Diversified Enterprises, Inc.\nin the amount of $3,310,602.\n4. Accept the Emergency Slope Stabilization Repairs at Casa Romantica,\nCIP Project No. 23502, from Alliance Diversified Enterprises, Inc.\n5. Authorize the City Clerk to execute and record the Notice of Completion\nfor the completed Emergency Slope Stabilization Repairs at Casa\nRomantica.\nAND\nB. Provide Direction for Phase 2B so that staff can submit an alternatives\nanalysis report to the California Coastal Commission.
