F. RESOLUTION NO. 26-22 ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2026-27 SENATEBILL 1 ROAD REPAIR AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT PROJECT LISTSenate Bill 1, also known as the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017,generates revenue through various taxes and fees for basic road maintenance,rehabilitation and critical safety needs on state highways and local streets. Aportion of these funds are distributed annually to eligible cities and counties,and the City’s allocation for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 is estimated to be $1,106,965.Funding recipients are held accountable through performance goals that aretracked and reported, and to be eligible for funding, City Council must adopt aresolution approving a list of qualifying projects to provide to the CaliforniaTransportation Committee.California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project asdefined in Section 15378(b)(4) of the State CEQA Guidelines.Recommended Action:Staff recommends that the City Council:1. Adopt Resolution No. 26-22 adopting a list of projects for Fiscal Year 2026-27 funded by Senate Bill 1: The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 027;and2. Authorize the Public Works Director to file necessary documentation tosatisfy Senate Bill 1 funding requirements and act as the authorizedsignatory for matters related to the Fiscal Year 2026-27 funding.
