12. FINAL TRACT MAP, ACCEPTANCE OF OFFERS OF DEDICATION,\nREJECTION OF IRREVOCABLE OFFER OF DEDICATION, AND\nABANDONMENT OF EASEMENT FOR TRACT MAP NO. 51644-13 TESORO\nHIGHLANDS - Pursuant to Section 66474.1 of the Subdivision Map Act, approve final\ntract map, accept and reject offers of dedication, and abandon existing easement for Tract\nNo. 51644-13. This map is for subdivision purposes and is located within Tesoro del\nValle, north of Tesoro del Valle Road.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Approve Final Tract Map for Tract No. 51644-13.\n2. Accept on behalf of the public the offers of dedication and grant of: (1) the easements\nfor public use and road purposes; (2) the easements for sanitary sewer and sanitary\nsewer ingress and egress purposes; (3) all sanitary sewers and appurtenant structures;\n(4) the easement for flood control purposes; (5) covered storm drain, storm drain\nappurtenant structures, ingress and egress; (6) storm drain ingress and egress; (7) the\nright to restrict or prohibit the erection or construction of any buildings or structures\nwithin lots 3, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14; and (8) the right to restrict or prohibit any and all\nallowable uses or construction within those areas designated as open space on this\nmap.\n3. Reject the irrevocable offer of dedication and grant in fee simple of all lot 1 for flood\ncontrol purposes.\n4. Authorize the City Manager or designee to rescind the rejection and accept the offer\nof dedication and grant in fee simple all of lot 1 when construction improvements are\ncompleted to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works.\n5. Reject the offer of dedication and grant for public use of the Private and Future street\neasements and improvements.\n6. Abandon the existing easement for private and future streets as shown on previously\nrecorded Parcel Map No. 82721, recorded on April 20, 2022.\n7. Make findings as follows: this project is consistent with the provisions of Sections\n66474 and 66474.1 of the Subdivision Map Act and should be approved.\n8. Instruct the Director of Administrative Services to endorse the Special Assessment\nStatement on the face of the Final Tract Map for Tract No. 51644-13, which indicates\nall special assessments levied by the City of Santa Clarita are paid.\n9. Instruct the City Clerk to endorse the City Clerk’s Statement on the face of the Final\nTract Map for Tract No. 51644-13, which embodies the approval of said map, the\nacceptance of the dedications shown thereon, the rejection of the irrevocable offer of\ndedication and grant in fee simple shown thereon, and abandonment of easements\ndescribed thereon.\n10. Instruct the City Surveyor to endorse the City Surveyor’s Statement on the face of the\nFinal Tract Map for Tract No. 51644-13, which provides for verification that the map\nis technically correct.\n11. Instruct the City Engineer to endorse the City Engineer’s Statement on the face of\nFinal Tract Map for Tract No. 51644-13, which provides for verification of\nsubstantial conformance with the Tentative Tract Map and all provisions of local\nordinances and state laws applicable at the time of approval.
