CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE IMPERIAL\nCOUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION TO PROVIDE ADMINISTRATIVE SERVCIES\nRELATED TO THE LIBRARY’S HIGH-SPEED BROADBAND CONNECTION FOR A\nNOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $58,000 FOR A FIVE-YEAR TERM\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute a five-year\nAgreement with the Imperial County Office of Education, the vendor selected by the\nCalifornia State Library to provide administrative services for its Broadband Services\nprogram, which provides high-speed internet connections to public libraries and facilitates\nsecuring state and federal rebates on behalf of participating libraries, in an amount not-to-\nexceed $58,000.
