15. AWARD OF CONTRACT TO BURNBOT, INC. FOR FUEL DOWNLOAD\nMODIFICATION ZONE 19 IMPLEMENTATION\nSERVICES AND APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO\nAGREEMENT WITH LAGUNA CANYON FOUNDATION\nFOR ENHANCED BIOLOGICAL MONITORING AND\nREPORTING\nRecommendations:\n1. Award and authorize the City Manager to execute a\ncontract with BurnBot Inc. (BurnBot) in the amount of\n$208,824 for implementation of Fuel Modification Zone\n19 (FMZ 19);\n2. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute\nAmendment No. 1 to the Professional Services\nAgreement with Laguna Canyon Foundation in the\namount of $20,124 for enhanced biological monitoring,\nmapping, and reporting services associated with FMZ 19\nimplementation; and\n3. Find that the recommended actions are within the scope\nof the environmental review previously completed for the\nLower Hobo and Diamond Crestview Fuel Modification\nProject (FMZs 16 and 19), that no further environmental\nreview is required pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Sections\n15162 and 15168, and that the project is further\nstatutorily exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to Public Resources\nCode Section 21080(b)(4) and CEQA Guidelines Section\n15269(c) as specific actions necessary to prevent or\nmitigate a wildfire emergency.
