CC 6. Request for Expenditure Authority and Appropriation for the Purchase of One (1) Asphalt\nPaver\nRecommendation(s):\n1. Approve a budget appropriation in the amount of $387,135.22 within the Fiscal Year\n2026-2027 to 215-44000-8200, utilizing Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account\n(RMRA) funds.\n2. Approve expenditure authority in the amount of $351,941.11 with a 10% contingency\nfor a total not-to-exceed amount of $387,135.22 for the purchase of one (1) LeeBoy 8520\nAsphalt Paver from Nixon-Egli Equipment Company via Sourcewell Contract No. 022626-\nVTL.\n3. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to sign all documents.\nThe acquisition of this equipment will enhance the City's ability to perform roadway\nmaintenance activities in-house, improve operational efficiency, reduce reliance on\ncontracted services for certain pavement maintenance work, and support the long-term\npreservation of the City's transportation infrastructure.
