CC 3. Approval of Lease Agreement for 900 ECO 12-Yard Combination Sewer Cleaner\nRecommendation(s):\n1. Approve a five-year lease agreement, via Lease Servicing Center, Inc. dba NCL\nGovernment Capital (“NCL”), utilizing a Sourcewell contract awarded to Sewer Equipment\nCo. of America.\n2. Find that this item is not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act.\n3. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to negotiate, finalize and execute the lease\nagreement, as well as any ancillary agreements or approvals, all in a form approved by the\nCity Attorney.\n4. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to sign all documents.\nTo maintain the current level of service and meet Best Management Practices in sewer\ncleaning and maintenance, this procurement is necessary due to the age and ongoing\nmechanical issues with existing equipment, which is well beyond its service life. This\nprocurement ensures the Public Works Department stays aligned with industry standards and\nlegislative requirements, and maintains a professional level of service delivery.
