PUBLIC HEARINGS\nPH 1. Amendment to the Avanti South Development Agreement (DA No. 18-001)\nRecommendation(s):\n1. Introduce Ordinance No. ____, adopting the First Amendment to Development\nAgreement (DA) No. 18-01 for the Avanti South Specific Plan (SP 15-02) (DA No. 26-002)\nto extend the term by seven years for a maximum of 27 years and restate the construction\nmilestones.\nThe developer has requested an extension to the development agreement to allow for a total\npossible term of 27 years from the effective date of April 23, 2019. Additionally, the\nconstruction milestones have been restated to align more closely with the new term of the\ndevelopment agreement. Specifically, the developer is required to start construction no later\nthan December 31, 2032, and complete a minimum of 300 units no later than December 31,\n2034. If the construction milestones are not met, the development agreement would expire.\nPH 2. Lancaster Maintenance District Annexations 2026\nRecommendation(s):\nAdopt Resolution No. ____, Announcing the Results of an Assessment Ballot\nProcedure Public Hearing, Ordering the Annexation of Territory into the Lancaster\nMaintenance Districts,\nand Ordering the Levy and Collection of Assessments Therein.\nThe Lancaster Maintenance Districts, separately known as the Lancaster Lighting\nMaintenance District, the Landscape Maintenance District and the Drainage Maintenance\nDistrict (“Districts”) were formed to provide a dedicated funding source for the maintenance,\noperations, servicing and installation of public lighting, public landscaping and public\nAnnexations has been provided a waiver and consent, requesting annexation into the\nDistricts. The Assessment Ballots and Notices of Public Hearing have been mailed to each\nowner, as required by Law.\nNEW BUSINESS
