DRAFT DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEE NEXUS STUDY – PRESENTATION The Draft Development Impact Fee Nexus Study represents an important step in ensuring the City’s fees remain legally compliant and aligned with current development conditions and infrastructure needs. The study establishes the required nexus between new development and the demand for public facilities and provides a framework for determining appropriate fee levels. This item provides the City Council with an opportunity to review the draft analysis and receive a presentation from Willdan Financial Services. Staff has also conducted initial outreach to the Building Industry Association and will continue stakeholder engagement as the process moves forward. California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as defined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines as it has no potential to result in any change in the environment. Recommended Action: Staff recommends that the City Council receive and file the presentation of the Draft Development Impact Fee Nexus Study prepared by Willdan Financial Services.
