B. CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTIONS RELATING TO SAN GABRIEL’S
GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 3, 2026
[RESOLUTIONS NO. 26-27, 26-28, 26-29]
This item calls the General Municipal Election for November 3, 2026, for the
election of three Members of the City Council, City Clerk, and City Treasurer,
and requests consolidation of the election with the Statewide General Election
of the same date.
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as
defined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.
Recommended Action:
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the following:
1. Resolution No. 26-27 calling for the holding of a General Municipal Election
on Tuesday, November 3, 2026;
2. Resolution No. 26-28 requesting the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Los Angeles to consolidate, administer, manage and oversee the Election;
and
3. Resolution No. 26-29 adopting regulations for candidates’ statements.
