4. Consider an Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Drone Program for the Lomita Sheriff’s Station. (Schmid) (15 mins) Recommendation: 1) Approve participating in the proposed Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Drone Program to be implemented by the Lomita Sheriff’s Station and the cost-share formula between the four cities for the first operating year; and, 2) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Cities of Rancho Palos Verdes, Lomita, Rolling Hills Estates, and Rolling Hills for the procurement of UAS Drones for the Lomita Sheriff’s Station.
