4. AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR EMERGENCY STREETLIGHT AND TRAFFIC SIGNAL REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES Staff recommend City Council award contracts to Bear Electrical Solutions, LLC and Select Electric Inc. to provide emergency streetlight and traffic signal maintenance services including streetlight/traffic signal pole replacements, for an initial amount up to and not-to-exceed $250,000 each for fiscal year 2026/27, combined between the two contractors, for the term of the effective date of the agreement through June 30, 2029, with the option to extend for two additional one year periods; and authorize the City Manager to execute a master agreement with the contractors and annual amendments each fiscal year for an amount up to and not-to-exceed the combined value approved during the annual budgeting process, on behalf of the City, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
