9. Required Actions to Secure Federal Funding for the San Dieguito Lagoon Shoreline Protection Project Recommended Action: Staff recommends the City Council: 1) Authorize staff to submit the necessary application and take any additional administrative actions as may be necessary to receive $1,031,000 in federal funds that were appropriated in the FY 2026 Federal Budget specifically for the City’s San Dieguito Lagoon Shoreline Protection Project (Project) from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA); and 2) Authorize the City Manager to sign the necessary documents.
