4.8 AWARD OF A PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE FISCAL\nYEAR 2022-23 ANNUAL RESIDENTIAL SLURRY SEAL PROJECT TO PAVEMENT\nCOATINGS CO. IN THE AMOUNT OF $220,910 (Dugan)\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1) Approve the plans and specifications for the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Annual\nResidential Slurry Seal Project; and\n2) Find that the Project is categorically exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA), as a Class 1 Existing Facilities,\npursuant to CEQA Guidelines, Section 15301; and\n3) Award a Public Works Construction Contract to the lowest responsive,\nresponsible bidder Pavement Coatings Co. of Jurupa Valley, California, in\nthe amount of $220,910, and reject all other bids; and\n4) Authorize the Mayor to execute the proposed Public Works Construction\nContract.\nItem No. 4.8
