10) DISCUSSION AND CONSIDERATION TO APPROVE A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDINGWITH EMPRENDE TO PRODUCE A CHRISTMAS PARADE IN COORDINATION WITH THE CITY’SANNUAL TREE LIGHTING EVENT AND TO REIMBURSE THE CITY FOR RELATED PARADEEXPENSESRecommend that the City Council:a. Approve a Memorandum of Understanding with EMPRENDE (Contract No. 2545) toproduce a Christmas Parade in coordination with the City’s Annual Tree Lighting Event, andto reimburse the City for all expenses related to the parade up to $37,718;b. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to make non-substantive changes and executethe agreement; andc. Provide staff direction regarding the sponsorship solicitation.
