F. Consider ratifying payments and approve an amendment to the Public Works Agreement for emergency work to the backup power system at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center. (Rodriguez) Recommendation: 1) Ratify additional emergency work, in the amount of $8,530, performed by L.U. Electric, Inc. to restore the emergency backup power system at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center (PVIC) between May 11, 2026 and May 22, 2026; 2) Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Public Works Agreement with L.U. Electric, Inc., to include the additional emergency work performed to restore the emergency backup power system at a cost of $8,530 and to complete the required weatherproofing to the electrical enclosure at the PVIC at a cost of $10,376 thereby increasing the not-to-exceed amount by $18,906 from $21,044 to $39,950 while maintaining a 10% contingency and extending the contract term by 70 days, and, 3) Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute Amendment No. 1, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
