ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 23-27 DECLARING JANUARY 28TH AS\nSTAND AGAINST HATE ACTION DAY\nOn March 9, 2023, the State of California adopted Senate Conforming\nResolution 15 (SCR 15) ;declaring January 28th annually as Stand Against Hate\nAction Day. By adopting the proposed resolution, the City of San Gabriel will\ndeclare January 28th as Stand Against Hate Action Day, calling upon the\ncommunity to collectively denounce hate and celebrate inclusion. There is no\nfiscal impact related to this item.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 23-27 declaring\nJanuary 28th annually as Stand Against Hate Action Day.
