1. AWARD OF THE PLACENTIA AVENUE, WEST 19TH STREET, AND 23-982\nEAST 17TH STREET PAVEMENT REHABILITATION, BICYCLE\nFACILITY, AND STRIPING IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, CITY\nPROJECT NO. 22-08\nRECOMMENDATION:\nStaff recommends the City Council:\n1. Adopt plans, specifications, and working details for the Placentia Avenue,\nWest 19th Street, and East 17th Street Pavement Rehabilitation, Bicycle\nFacility, and Striping Improvements Project, City Project No. 22-08.\n2. Award a Public Works Agreement (PWA) for construction to All American\nAsphalt, 400 East Sixth Street, Corona, CA 92879 in the amount of\n$2,745,547.20.\n3. Authorize the City Manager and City Clerk to execute the PWA (Attachment\n1) for All American Asphalt and future amendments to the agreements within\nCouncil authorized limits.\n4. Authorize a ten percent (10%) contingency in the amount of $274,555 for\nconstruction and unforeseen costs related to this project.\n5. Find this item categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct (CEQA) pursuant to Class 1: Existing Facilities and Class 2:\nReplacement or Reconstruction.\nAttachments: 1.
