10. AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO VIDO SAMARZICH, INC. FOR THE BUS SHELTER REPLACEMENT PROJECT, CASH CONTRACT NO. 24-08 Staff recommends that the City Council: 1. Award a Construction Contract to Vido Samarzich, Inc. for the Bus Shelter Replacement Project, Cash Contract No. 24-08 in the amount of $1,607,140; 2. Authorize the Public Works Director to process change orders in an amount not to exceed 15% of the contract for $241,071, for a total not-to-exceed amount of $1,848,211, if needed; 3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Construction Contract to Vido Samarzich, Inc. for the Bus Shelter Replacement Project, Cash Contract No. 24-08, subject to the City Attorney making non-substantive changes; and, 4.
