8. CONSIDERATION TO AUTHORIZE SUBMITTAL OF A 2026 UNITED STATES TENNIS
ASSOCIATION TENNIS VENUE SERVICES GRANT APPLICATION FOR THE
RESURFACING OF TWO TENNIS COURTS AT GARFIELD PARK
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Authorize the preparation and submittal of a 2026 United States Tennis Association
Tennis Venue Services Grant application requesting up to $16,000 toward the
resurfacing of two tennis courts at Garfield Park; and
2. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute and submit all documents
necessary to complete the grant application.
