17. CONSIDERATION FOR FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE NO. 2420, AN AMENDING SECTION 19.58 AND 19.64 OF THE SOUTH PASADENA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO OVERNIGHT PARKING RESTRICTIONS AND OVERNIGHT PARKING PERMITS ADJUSTING THE OVERNIGHT PARKING RESTRICTION TO 1:00 A.M. TO 6:00 A.M. Recommendation It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Introduce and waive full reading of Ordinance No. 2420, amending Section 19.58 and Section 19.64 of the South Pasadena Municipal Code relating to overnight parking restrictions and overnight parking permits; and 2. Adopt Resolution No. 8024 approving a budget appropriation of $10,000 from the General Fund into the Police Department’s Professional Services expenditure account number 101-4010-4011-8170 to update the regulatory signage at major thoroughfares entering the City related to the overnight parking prohibition.
